Cookie Policy

• Sign-in — localStorage / authentication storage: stores the session information needed to keep you logged in, until sign-out, session expiry or browser clearing. Authentication and hosting services may also use necessary cookies.
• Search session — sessionStorage: keeps the current query, listing, filters, sorting, scroll position, navigation origin and a cache of up to 200 marketplace listings for this tab. This normally ends when you close the tab; browser session restoration can preserve tab data.
• Photo Search — browser memory: holds a local image-preview reference, extracted descriptions and results so returning to results does not repeat analysis. A full reload or closing the tab clears this memory.
• Reliability — sessionStorage: a timestamp prevents repeated automatic reloads after a site update within a ten-second recovery window. The marker itself normally remains until the tab session ends.

These uses support sign-in, the search session you request and reliability, rather than advertising or cross-site profiling. Strictly necessary storage is exempt from prior cookie consent. No non-essential cookie integration or consent banner is currently implemented; provider-set cookies still require confirmation before launch.

No third-party analytics SDK, advertising pixel or marketing-cookie integration is present in CloFound’s application code. Welcome-email links contain campaign labels in their URLs; these do not themselves set an analytics cookie. Signed-in account activity is stored for personalisation, separately from cookies, as described in our Privacy Policy.

If non-essential tracking is introduced, we will update this policy and obtain consent before activating it. Embedded marketplace images and visits to an original marketplace may involve that provider’s request handling and storage under its own policy.

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block essential storage, signing in and returning to results may not work.
